overheard lesson

I was in the bathroom, doing makeup? cleaning? Something that involved the door open, and I overheard this from the living room.

A family friend : Your shoes are on the wrong feet, kiddo

Duncan : Mmmnf (shoes on the right feet is something he cares very little about)

My mom : Why don’t you show him a trick to tell which shoe is for which foot.

AFF : He knows which shoe is the right one, he just doesn’t care.

MM : Ok. Duncan, how do you know which is the right foot?

D : Like this, “MOM!? IS THIS THE RIGHT FOOT!!!!?”

Cracked me up.
