I am a fan of John, a very big fan of his work. I would argue his stature as one of the best contemporary writers.

I found an interview with him. It’s mainly about his most recent novel, Until I Find You, which I’ve not read. I own both the hard and paper-back editions, but I’ve got this part of me that is afraid he won’t write another book, die suddenly or something, and I’ll never read him for the first time again. So. I thought I would wait until something else was published. The end of the interview, though, he speaks about his next novel. Very good news, indeed.
