We are hooked.

Duncan and I have been having so much fun with fireworks. We got some on Sunday… then went back for some more today. We live right by a Reservation, they are everywhere and they are cheap. Well, cheap-ish. We know some people that sell them, and it doesn’t hurt that Duncan is cute, I’m sure. He goes up there with his money and comes back with bags of fun stuff.

I told someone that they are addicting, and they really are. You go to light it, and RUN. Because, really, you’ve no idea what the hell it is going to do. It’s not like they are stable. In fact, some are downright dangerous. Makes it all the more thrilling.

My neighborhood has been alight with booms and crackles and pretty festivities every night. I love the Fourth of July! I will be disappointed when it’s all over tomorrow night.
