storm watch

I currently have five children raising havoc in my house and gingerbread in the oven. And we’re having pumpkin soup with olive bread for lunch.

It’s wild and stormy outside. Howling winds and rollicking thunder, the kind that shakes everything. Although, it’s possible that the shaking house is just a result of said five children.

I’m still in my pajama’s and drinking coffee.

I love this sort of day.

Unless the power goes out, it did for a few minutes this morning. That I do not love. Not even a little bit.

    Lunch sounds good.
I admire you that you can call that a fun day.
I had 4 kids here for two months and was ready to pull my hair out (and perhaps tape their mouths closed).
    You’re a brave woman!

Ha! I didn’t mean the kid part, just the baking smells and pajamas and storming outside parts.

The only benefit of having other people’s kids around is that they keep my kid entertained.

I love big, loud storms. How did the gingerbread turn out?

That is my favorite kind of day too…unless it’s beach weather!

Lucky. Except for the 5 kids part.
