what the hell.

Last night I was laying in bed reading. I’m not usually the type to fall asleep while reading, but I think I must have. Duncan woke me up in the middle of the night when he got up to go to the bathroom and asked me if I was ever going to go to sleep. It struck me as odd at the time, because I was asleep. I don’t remember turning off my light afterwards, but I must have done that, too.

This morning went as usual, except when I went to grab the book as I was leaving, it wasn’t there.

I searched and didn’t find it. I took Duncan to the bus stop, came back home and searched again. Still missing. I had to leave so I wouldn’t be late, but I’ve just come home and I still can’t find the goddamned book. It’s not even a GOOD book, but I’m going nuts because I can’t find it. Books don’t just disappear. They don’t walk away.

I’ve taken apart my bedding completely, looked behind night stands, moved the bed to make sure it didn’t fall underneath. And it’s nowhere to be found.

What the hell?

Maybe the monsters under your bed were craving some new reading material?

I was thinking the same thing Atomic Bombshell was. Any chance Duncan moved it out of your bed when he woke you up last night?

BUUUUUUUURP!! It was delicious!! A tad bland for my taste, but it was filling…next time I should take off the cover first, the corners were a bit bit rough on the way down…. :(=) I would check with one ‘Duncan of the Night’… he may not even remember it, or where he put it!

    Lmao! @ pontiff.

That is odd. Yesterday I put my book in my bag. Got on the bus and thought to myself, Damn I left the book. Got to work and the book was in the bag, duh!

Maybe that’s what happened to you. You put it someplace and don’t remember doing it.

    Make sense?
    I don’t know.
    LOL

    Have a good day.

I would say check with Duncan… and if not, then you have some sleeping issues that go WAY deeper than snoring!!!

Bizarre. Did you check under the mattress? Maybe sleep-walking is the answer.

Were you feeling full when you woke up? Maybe you ate it. ;)

I was thinking sleepwalking too. Kinda scary when you think of it.

    Is your toilet over flowing?

    I’m just guessing. ;)

I think we need to know what book you were reading. That could impact our theories…all of which are complete hogwash. But knowing the book could make it better informed complete hogwash.
