First and foremost let us relish in the goodness that is Spring Break. Because it is very, very good.
This entire week I have only one thing that I must do*. It’s twice, but none-the-less. I freakin’ LOVE that. Today and Thursday are the first two classes of Spring quarter, in which I am enrolled in a Spanish class. Although it doesn’t at all correlate to the week off I am currently enjoying, I don’t really mind. I am looking forward to the class, as well as the fact that I am going to be getting paid to be there. As if I were at work. Which I won’t be. (!)
Duncan’s baseball coach called yesterday, and his first two practices of the season are scheduled when? Oh right. Today and Thursday. Of COURSE. So something in which I was rather thrilled about now has the conflict of missing my son’s very first baseball practice ever (!) attached to it.
And that sucks.
Why is it that we are well enough into the twenty-first century and no one has yet figured out how to be in two places at once?
* Aside from feed the child. Maybe even eat myself, although I don’t think I am in any danger of starving to death. I don’t even have to bathe, not if I don’t want to. Awesome.

Being in two places at once would be nice, but I’d even settle for the ability to teleport… I thought the future was going to bring us wonderful things like this… I’m seriously disappointed!
Not bathing is a luxury? Ewww. As for telporting, give a listen to Firesign Theater’s classic “How Can You Be Two Places At Once When You’re Not Anywhere At All?”
This is where my parents and a camera are very appreciated!!!
FIRESIGN!!!!!! NIIIICK DAAAAANGER!!!!!!!!! ==== Yeah, I HOOOOOOOPE someone videotaped a little of it for you…… I remember little league….. back in “simpler times”… (although, not all the time, necessarily better times though ….)
I hope Duncan had a GREAT TIME!! It is SO important to a growing boy…in SO many ways…..
Conflicto de intersto es no bueno. Si, es verdad.
