Duncan has an English accent that he can switch on and off… it never fails to make me laugh.

This morning he got into bed with me and wished me a happy Mother’s Day. I told him he was to be super nice to me all day and tell me that I was the smartest, funniest, prettiest and overall best mother in the world. He looked at me and said, “But you aren’t, [my best friend since I was 10] is.”

He then laughed, but I’m not entirely convinced he was kidding. He’s very dead pan, the Boy.

We had a great breakfast out and are now cuddled up watching movies instead of braving the elements outside.
