new

I got a tattoo in Missoula.

It says Sapere Aude, it’s latin and means dare to know, or have the courage to use your own reason.

I love it. Even though it looks a bit mangy, with bits of skin falling off at the moment. I am assured that this will not last.

I really, really love it. I have a little ladybug on the same wrist.

The classy Latin is much better than the “I went to Missoula and all I got was this lousy tattoo” option.

Very nice! This is your first tattoo? Do you plan to get any more?

I just got my whole upper back/neck done this past week - love, love, love it! I can’t wait to go back and have him work on my lower back to try and tie it all together. It’s kind of addicting for me…

BTW - the dead skin should all fall off in a matter of days - just keep applying your A&D :-)

Very cool, Tory (do people call you Tory?) I love the fact that you went with something original. And I really love that it isn’t on your lower back.

Nice! I love tattoos, I love getting them. I hate pain but they are worth it. I have one down my forearm, but want one on the opposite wrist. How bad did it hurt going over the vein?

Killer Concept! Love tats, I have 3, and am about to get #4 , “MOLON LABE” latin also, meaning “EFFORT TO TAKE THEM” -more literally:”having come, take” (or translated to modern times ‘Over my Dead Body’ === King Leonidas(I)of Sparta sent that message to Xerxes(I) of Persia at the Battle of Thermopylae (480 BC) when asked to surrender(and his soldiers lives would be spared… ==== also another modern response to the same query by the Germans at the Battle of The Bulge, US General Anthony McAuliff told them: “NUTS!” … We prevailed, the Spartans do not, BUT! We are STILL 2500 years later, REMEMBERING the SPARTANS, their sacrifice, and their amazing story! (see the movie ‘300′ for reference) ——Tatty location: I haven’t fully decided where yet though, forearm, chest or upper back… Your post are always so ‘OPEN’ minded!!
