TIPPING THE VELVET - Sarah Waters

Tipping the velvet = cunnilingus.  I had no idea.  Along with all the other late 1800’s English slang in this book. 
I bought it at a car boot sale,  because a 75 year old grandmother type recommended it to me and called it ’saucy’!  I had to know what she thought saucy!

TWO FOR THE DOUGH - Janet Evanovich

Still very readable.  I expected them to be funnier.
I think that the author is trying too hard.  Too hard to be funny,  too hard to be cool, to hard to be liked.

ONE FOR THE MONEY - Janet Evanovich

Readable. 
I love the Grandmother.  She is hillarious and by far the best character of the book!
