I have mixed feelings about this book. I thought that almost every other character in it was more likeable than the main. Except her name was Isobel, which I really liked.
I thought her sadness was described as if you were looking at her, instead of using the magic of books, being able to feel her. In parts the book became like a weird Indy film, you think it’s pretty but are asking yourself, what the fuck is going on with this girl?
