I liked this one alot.
I love that it was long, and good. When I am fully engrossed in a story I am usually disappointed that it’s over within just a couple hundred pages. That usually means just a few hours. But this one lasted me almost a whole weekend.
I loved the descriptions of Eastern Europe. It made me want to go there, travel and experience these places myself. I’ve always been endlessly fascinated with Europe… this just reinforced it.
I loved the way the story jumped between time and narrators and the use of letters.
I don’t know if the characters were ever developed enough for me to say that I loved them, but I liked them a lot. Especially the “extras”.
The story was good and interesting.
