“Come…dry your eyes, for you are life, rarer than a Quark and unpredictable beyond the dreams of Heisenberg; the clay in which the forces that shape all things leave their fingerprints most clearly.  Dry your eyes… and let’s go home.”

This book, which was recommended by a good friend, whom I respect much, though I have always thought his taste in books slightly suspect.  This, though, “comic book” and all, was amazing.

The writing was really good.  The characters were good.  The premise was good.  I didn’t love the pictures, but I can see that they go hand in hand with the story.

I wasn’t expecting to like this book nearly as much as I did.  I wasn’t expecting the writing to be so great,  I was expecting a super hero story.  It is so much more.
