This is quite possibly the poorest writing in novel that I have ever experienced. I realized this quickly, as you do, and looked at the front only to notice that it is a novel based on a screenplay.  That might have something to do with the quality, I suppose.
But, I had already started it. So I had to finish it, because that’s what I do.

I think that the actual story had some potential, but the writing… it was just terrible.
