Just started a new job, wanted something easy and light. And I got it from the FREE table at a garage sale over the weekend. Perfect.

Alright. I’ve finished. And I’m not entirely sure what to say about it. Every character was ridiculously unsympathetic. I couldn’t stand any of them, the entire way through. Then, about 25 pages from the end, all the sudden there was happy endings for a couple (romance, fame and money) and sudden demise of others (suicide, loss of romance, fame and money). I guess the latter were meant to be the more horrific of the characters, but since I hated them all, I didn’t find the end satisfying.

Oh wait, I didn’t find any of it satisfying.
