Um.  The author tried very VERY hard to be funny.  But ended up being annoying instead.  It was just over the top chick-lit. 

A book like this,  it has no chance of winning me over.  I feel bad for saying bad things about them, when I know full well when I start that I’m not going to like it. 

What I do like about this sort of book, though, is that I can curl up in bed and finish it within a few hours.  That I like.
