I’m always a little turned off by the idea of sci-fi… I want to like it, I’m just pretty sure I won’t. So I’ve never given it a proper chance.

I don’t really see how I could possibly hate a Judy Blume novel.
It was a bit indulgent, and the plot although maybe risqué at the time has been done plenty and hers wasn’t especially wonderful, or insightful, or brilliantly written. But all the same. Judy Blume. Come on.
